• Beautiful handmade brass Tibetan cabinet. ⠀
• Another 3” tall guy. These are really fun to carve and relatively quick!
• Still needs some detail work before painting, but getting close. (What will be a female rainbow trout).
• Tonight’s project. Mustache cracked near the finish but it ended up all right. Scroll sawed out blank and used Case whittler and Old Timer mini stockman for whittle out and “V” gouge on beard.

New To Carving Posted: 05 Dec 2019 03:40 AM PST I will soon start my second carving (the first was a first draft for this and learning the tools). I am making carvings of my friends favorite animals for Christmas though the wood I used for my first carving, balsa, did not work well (it snapped).
