- Spent the afternoon in the shop. Getting closer to oil time

Posted: 18 Mar 2020 07:23 AM PDT Hello all, I recently came across a sapling that had been cut down in a park. It's about the perfect height and width to use as a walking stick but I'm unsure about prepping the wood. I know I should remove the bark so it can dry properly but I'm curious on how to keep it from cracking.
