Cherry bowl progress. Last update before the finished bowl. Feels like it's taking forever to finish, but I'm actually ahead of schedule, somehow. The amount of volume and surface area difference between an 8" and 12" bowl is not a small thing.. Lol. Descriptions in pics. Have a good'un, all!

    Woodworking priorities

    Posted: 15 Jan 2022 02:57 AM PST

Do you start a project, finish it and move to another or are you like me and end up on working in 20 different things?

The only time I break this rule is when I have some client commission, otherwise I get bored from working on the same piece day in day out.

    How about you?

    Dremel's and their alternatives

    Posted: 14 Jan 2022 03:21 PM PST

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any advice on rotary multi tools. I know that dremel is the most famous brand and generally that means a safe bet of a good product but what are some good alternatives? It seems a lot of money to invest especially as I've never used one before, any advice would be appreciated

How does a chainsaw carver get all of their wood supply? I want to work up to be one but I don't want wood stock to be a big issue
