Pretty happy with my first attempts at whittling! Followed Doug Linker's 5-minute wizard YouTube demo to start off with. Tasmanian oak and pine. Think I'm addicted.

Advice how to oil the spoon/scoop

Just finished a tea scoop from linden first in a while. It isn't the first thing I've carved overall, but the first one I'm actually planning to use with food (scooping tea obviously 🙂)

Can someone please point out some advise or link on detailed guide/article how to oil it?

Co-worker is switching crews and lost his pirate piece for Catan. Whipped this up in 20mins as a parting gift.
