Advice: Tools for left handed 7 year old new to wood carving?

    Posted: 20 Mar 2020 10:38 AM PDT

Hi! My 7 year old (who is left handed) is interested in learning to do wood carving. Can anyone recommend smallish tools that would be suitable for such a beginner? Thank you for any ideas!

So I recently decided that trying woodcarving/whittling seems pretty fun. Can anyone give me and tips for starting out? I'm not even sure what kind of knife or wood I need, so anything is appreciated. Thanks!
