- Little hound and carved. Occt knife, #9 gouge and 1/4” v tool. Bass wood and watered down paint.
- Fun project for scraps! Baby rattle with cherry core and red oak, mahogany and torrefied maple outsides. Really simple but quite beautiful I think!
- Any tips on how to make a round bowl from a square block of wood without a lathe?
- Advice needed re: sealer/finish. Details in post.

I do a lot of basswood carving, and have been using polyurethane to finish things up because, well, I'm inexperienced in that area.
