Posted: 23 Dec 2020 10:15 AM PST I've been watching videos and reading articles about carving/whittling. I want to give it a go. Make some little christmas trees and a beard guy. It seems that 1.5"x1.5"x~5" is the perfect size for the general/entry level carvings I want. Having a terribly hard time finding a source for 1.5" blocks (I blame google's amazon addiction). I have found plenty of 2" blocks. I can resaw the larger blocks down. But they don't seem reasonably priced for what I'm getting. Aside from one ebay source for the 1.5's... I'm stumped 😜 Any shop sources would be appreciated. [link] [comments] | ||
