After making a set of knife scales, I decided to build a box to store the knife in. I started with poplar, painted it, and then carved through the paint. The design was based on the strap carvings that Peter Follansbee demonstrates in his book.

How would you describe this edge profile?

How would you describe this edge profile?

I'm looking at a project to replace some cabinet doors but I'm having some difficulty finding them.

The attached picture highlights the door edge.

Can anyone tell me what to look for when searching for this door?

Please note the recessed inside edge to make this a handleless door.

    Thanks

    Looking for this Odd Planter

Hi! I am decorating a bedroom to be themed like the Enchanted Tiki Room in Disneyland and I am having some trouble finding a certain item. I am looking for a 3ft planter that looks like the ones that hang from the ceiling (pictured below). I am looking for a planter/boat/wooden object that looks like this. If anyone knows any niche stores that sell things like this, please let me know. Any help/information would be greatly appreciated! Also, if I were to have one custom made, how much do you all think it would cost (if cheap wood is used)? Thanks so much!
