Wood carving "Growth" Hand carved in European Basswood. Measures are 90x50cm. Finished with 2 coats of Danish Oil. Wooden wall art piece. I used a chip carving knife and a couple gouges from Pfeil Tools. Added some texture parts with a Dremel and a good amount of sandpaper.

• Hand carved in sycamore, just to show that carvings don't need to be just wood, I posted on woodworking and it was suggested I post here. Hope I'm not breaking any rules but I've included a material list and a link to my insta in the comments.

• Forgot to post this. Christmas ornament commission I did. I carved the sword, recipient wrapped the hilt.
• Spalty trash log hacked into magnificence. Might be a couple of pics from an earlier post in here, but I've left them for context.
• I carved this Easter Island head out of crape myrtle wood.
