Anyone using a Dremel for carving? Posted: 08 Jul 2021 06:36 PM PDT Hey wonderful carvers. I have just purchased a dremel for carving and was wondering if people could share their input on tips for carving. Also show us some examples of your beautiful work? Thanks team [link] [comments]
Question about knives and sharpening kit Posted: 08 Jul 2021 04:56 PM PDT My son has taken an interest in spoon and wood carving so I'm getting him a slots knife and a few other items for his birthday. My questions are: What knives other than a sloyd and a score does he need to get started? Also, is there a good sharpening kit that will hold the knife and put the stone at the proper angle? I've seen the Lansky kit on Amazon but wasn't sure if it was any good. [link] [comments]
