    Clock Tower - "whimsical house" style carving done in 16.5 inches piece of cottonwood bark. Hand carved.

    All 4 pieces cut and shaped. Going to mount them in this order but on curly maple finished with danish oil. Added finishing touches to the eyes and it brings the pups to life! Did my best with the blemish on the one eye. Hard to get right

    I have been wanting to get into wood carving as a new hobby, but I'm not too sure what to buy. I've been looking around online for some kits, and I'm trying to find the best bang for my buck. Any suggestions?
