Where can I find good Bear Statues?

    Posted: 16 Dec 2020 07:37 AM PST

I really want to find a decent wood carved bear statue for a gift that would be about 2 foot tall. I've looked online but didn't find anywhere that had what I wanted. Any idea where I could look?

1st carving that isn’t practical. I usually make cups, spoons. 40-year old juniper, cut by rangers, from Shell Beach in Northern CA. Twisted by the ocean wind.

Hello everyone. Need some tips or advice. I have a slab of oak that I'm trying to carve a logo in but there's some knots in my way. I can't get around them. If I epoxy the knots, am I good to carve through the epoxy? Should I do something else?
