Sweaty palms while carving/whittling - should there be a point where I should be concerned? Posted: 14 Dec 2020 01:16 PM PST as the title suggests, my palms sweat during long sessions of whittling. I'm concerned if this will affect basswood in anyway as I'm working on it. I note that the wood gets more manageable to carve as time goes on, but I'm concerned that sweating may cause it to mold or inflate. Does anyone else have similar problems and possible solutions? I've considered gloves but they're pretty bulky (at least the ones I found on Amazon) and I'm certain Id just sweat through them. Or is this not an issue and I should just keep doing what I'm doing?
