Wood carving 5ft tall hollowed trunk!

• 5ft tall hollowed trunk!
• Scull with wings carved from oak slab. Finished with tung oil and airbrushed shadows.
• Well done
• Been working on chip carving this week

• C2 finished. Took forever. C7 for comparison in the last shot.

• A little whittled guy in the shoes
• I loved this carving so much that I even finally bought the game it was based on. I just had to cross post.
• When the CNC can not - the master can ..
• First carving! Quite messy so any pointers would be great!
• Jewelry carving on a tree from a maple

• Newbie here. Seeking advice on tools and methods to carve these dowels into walking sticks/poles. Is there a relatively simple method to taper lengthwise and round out the ends? I only have basic power tools (circular saw, grinder etc). Thanks in advance.
