- I carved a pendant out of a walnut scrap for our closet light pull. Unfortunately I had previously used the scrap to practice carving a Celtic knot.
- Who is this a sculpture of? Found in this beach house on the Outer Banks; decorated by the kids of the house.

- Experimenting with leaves. I think the eyebrows are too wide, but I do like the long beard leaf. Used a sharp knife, instead of v knife for the leaf detail and pleased with the outcome.
