• Quatrefoil knot - most challenging knot so far...
• First time carving a chess piece, basswood using Mora 120
• Learned from this one. The next will be better.
• This is my first woodcarving attempt. A four foot round horse head in relief carving for my wife's stables.
• Sycamore turtle finished with walnut oil (2nd attempt at posting, whoops)
• Discouraged Christ- sculpture for an art competition.
• I made a Dark Side of the Moon flyfishing net. Walnut, Cherry and hickory
• Sugar/Salt spoon. Basswood treated with olive oil. Feedback welcome!
• Large Basswood block for a mask?

Large Basswood block for a mask? Posted: 16 Aug 2021 01:14 PM PDT I'm looking to carve a mask for my girlfriend but I can't seem to find a block of wood that's a big enough there either too long of are thick enough can someone help me out here?
