    Finished after some adjustments. 1/12 scale wooden ball jointed art doll. About 5 1/2” standing height. Originally had a peasant girl costume but turned her into boho chic. Mainly used basswood.

    Box Elder bowl update: I left descriptions on the pics.. I didn't use a hatchet on this one..just the rasp. I wanted more control over the shape, and was worried about punky wood.. It's taking longer than I'd hoped, but we'll get there..eventually. Have a good one, all!

    Looking for a commission for a couple of kitchen utensils in African olive wood.

    I just got a gorgeous set of utensils hand carved by an immigrant from Northern Africa made from African Olive Wood (which is also an antibacterial wood). I'm looking for a commission to finish the set. If anyone is willing and capable to follow the same specs, PLEASE PM me or refer me to someone where I can commission the rest of my set. I'm even willing to send one of the utensils to whomever is willing to copy the style. Also, I already asked but the woodworker doesn't do commissions, unfortunately. And, for the record, they're very basic. No ornamental carvings or anything. I'll try to attach a picture of his style, if it works it's got a pink circle around the size and style I bought from.

    I need a spatula, a pasta ladle, and a couple of others. I absolutely need these to complete my set and will hunt them down until I get what I need. Again, if you're willing to work with me, PM me, because this is a 100% serious request and I need to complete my set, in the sand style, with the same wood, in the same specs.
