• First experiment with charring
• Handcarved CA redwood. I can't believe how much the walnut oil darkened up the wood! Last pic is before the oil. Pretty easy wood to carve, except for the tear-out.. The worst I've ever dealt with. Also, it's the first bowl I've attempted to carve a foot on.. It's terrible...but still level.��
