    Small update on the big cherry bowl.. Reached max width, now trying to find depth.. No more mallets.. All push/leverage gouge work. A large oval scorp will finish off the hump left in the center. Side grain tearing is still an issue, but I think it's manageable.. Maybe. Have a good'un, all!

    Finished thus 22" whale I posted a while back! Carved from Atlantic white cedar, painted with oil paint, the teeth are Rose thorns. Made the base from striped maple.
