    Sets for relief carving

    Posted: 30 May 2020 02:25 PM PDT

There seems to be a lot of options and have been reading about what I need, but would love some input. Im hoping to do relief carving about 4x6in size. Suggestions for a good starter kit under about $75, does size of artwork determine if you want full handles or palm set? Will one type be easier on my hands? These ones are on my list now...

    Option One:

    https://www.amazon.com/Flexcut-Carving-Beginners-Woodcarving-FR310/dp/B005G2G218/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=carving%2Bgouges&qid=1590873477&sr=8-6&th=1

    Option Two:

(Has anyone used an interchangeable set like this? Any differences in the blades?)

    Option 3:

(Sold out right now but could wait)
