Posted: 03 Jun 2020 02:58 PM PDT I carve something almost everyday, but I had yet to use my hook knife. Here's my first go. I learned a lot. Critiques are more than welcome. [link] [comments] | ||
What products do you use to finish your carvings? Posted: 03 Jun 2020 04:25 PM PDT Hello everyone, I'm a beginner carver, I would like to know What products do you use to finish your spoon/utensils and kuksas? I have some Clarks cutting board oil and cutting board wax, is this good for spoon/utensil carvings or kuksas? Also what is a good wood to use for utensils and kuksas? I live in Canada so pine and maple are everywhere. [link] [comments] |
