- Just finished up carving “Sherb” from some basswood. He’s a villager from the popular Nintendo series Animal Crossing. Lots of fun with this one as well as my first carving where I’ve added in some paintwork.
- Finished this today
- My most recent eucalyptus wand. These will go much faster when I get a lathe.
- Cardinal feather in cherry. First time trying a feather.
- Great little box!
- Sleeping Tree Spirit - 3rd attempt - Getting a little better each time.
- First attempt at power carving. 3 faces on log.
- Finished my second spoon
- Wood burner question?

Posted: 30 Jul 2020 06:17 PM PDT Bought a nice used Nibsburner today with the detachable pen. Is the wire used for the tips special, as in a resistor wire, or would a stainless wire the same diameter as the collet work? It has dual output jacks, cords and pens, just one doesn't have the tip.
