Wanted to carve something different....
It's a Triceramaid!
My latest carving...the one on the right.
I'm a 15 year old beginner, this is an eating spoon I made from a cedar tree I chopped down a few months ago. I would really appreciate your feedback and advice! Thank you!
Wooden infinity twist necklace. Stabilized Ash - tree wood
Carved and hollowed out a heart from basswood, then filled it with blue colored resin. Now working on a stand for it

Where do you get your wood for carving?

Hi! I just started carving and have bought basswood from Michaels and Hobby Lobby, but was not sure if there was a better place to get it (or different types of wood). I see it on amazon, but most are packs of multiple sizes of wood, and I don't usually want to buy a variety. Any tips appreciated!!
