    I found a piece laburnum, while I was hedge laying many years ago, and I thought it would make a fantasy figure. The face is hedge row maple decorated with hand made copper leaves. As with most of my work I like to incorporate metal into a wooden carving.

    Celebrating my dad’s 50th birthday by carving a violin scroll of him. First time carving a human figure and I’m happy with how it turned out.

    Hello!

    Im looking to get in woodcarving as a hobby and wanted to know if anyone can point me in the right direction for a reasonable priced set of tools that aren't complete junk. I was on amazon and browsing but looking for any recommendations.
