• My first chain.
• My new carving knives came with Band-Aids in the box
• A pair of tiny booknerds I made. My first wood carving (I only tried bone before) and this material is amazing!
• I carved a couple fish out of cherry and cedar scrap I had laying around
• I posted an image of this a while back, but now you can see how its made! Five Intersecting Tetrahedra...
• This is my first carving and I was wondering if I could get critiques and feedback. Thank you so much.

• Comfort Birds in Marblewood (j 2532) and Ironwood (j 3260) - Shine is just due to hardness of the wood sanded to high grit and buffed - Different tail types
• Workin on a sign for a knife making friend.
• Hanging fruit bat! Hand carved from basswood.

First timer's mistake Posted: 13 Jul 2021 11:50 AM PDT Hard maple is VERY difficult to hand carve... Especially when I can't sharpen my carving tools to the level that I do with my chisels and planes.
