How do you finish your piece?

    Posted: 25 Oct 2021 08:02 AM PDT

What do you guys use to finish? I've been using danish oil variants for small pendants and a series of micro abrasives.

I bought some nice chisels and hauled some nice foraged wood down from my local forest to start some bigger projects. Probably some green man faces or a giant mushroom.

I'm not sure how people typically finish big wood sculptures though? I didn't want to just dump a can of oil over a finished piece, since the oil needs to penetrate the wood right? I dunno. Advice?
