Painting a Japanese Noh Mask Posted: 24 Oct 2021 05:21 AM PDT Hi all, I carved a Japanese noh-style mask years ago but never got around to painting it. Does anyone know where I can find tutorials on how to paint this? Or does anyone have any pointers? It can be traditional-ish, or modern-style painting e.g. rattle can, I just want it to last a long time. Thanks! Good hand carving tools? Posted: 23 Oct 2021 11:42 PM PDT I want to start wood carving but I don't want "beginner tools" because I don't want to "level up" and buy something else for "non-beginners."
