"Crown of Fear" my forth ever carving I finished a couple months back, size is 30“/30“
I made a couch potato.
My first carving !
It ain't perfect, but I'm proud of it.
Can you guess what's my favourite animal?
Updated the couch potato for covid19.
Found a piece of a plank and started working on it. Had quite fun and want to do more. But the wood was kind of a bitch to work on. What kind of wood do you guys recommend?

So I was trying my hand at carving for the first time and accidentally sliced into my hand with the force of god. There's blood everywhere and I just barely got out of having to get stitched. Any pros know what gets blood out of carpet? And basswood?

I Need a No Bevel Chip Knife

Where can I buy a #2 chip knife that doesn't have 'secondary' bevels? I basically ruined a Mora knife trying to flatten the blade from spine to cutting edge.
