Beginner looking for a straight answer.

Hi there, looking to make signs to see if I like the hobby but I have searched the sub and can't get a clear answer. I would like to use a dremel but which one? Where can I make custom stencils? Any tips would be great, thanks.

Practicing chip carving for next box

Ok... so this piece started off as a coffee bean sculpture out of scraps of hardwoods. When I was almost done I took a quick left. This piece was inspired by coffee and Jaehyo Lee art. 10"x6"×5.5" I need to start documenting what I do instead getting screen shots from my IG.

    Micro Gouges

    Posted: 04 Sep 2020 03:23 PM PDT

What micro gouge shapes/sizes do people recommend to get started with fine detail work? I'm looking at some from Drake right now but am unsure of where to begin.

[edit]: I just went to the Drake site and bought them all in 1/16th inch size.
