What’s your opinion on carving with a dremel?

I really want to do wood carving to create little trinkets and possibly make some money for it. The only problem is, I lack the hand/wrist/forearm strength to carve with a knife. I tried, and it was very hard and I was very sore after I carved my tiny mushroom. Now, I've seen tons of videos of people carving with dremels, which seems perfect for me because it doesn't require much strength. What's your opinion on wood carving with a dremel tool? Is it still woodcarving?
