    I'm trying to get rid of some end grain off the end of my carving so I can focus on the carving. I was wondering if I should resume whittling it down with the aid of a gouge or if I should just rasp it off.

    My first carving with a Dremel, a little push dagger carved out of teakwood. It currently has a 400-grit finish. Would love to hear some suggestions for the finishing !! Hope you all like it
