    Beginners set uk

    Posted: 21 Feb 2021 01:52 PM PST

Hi, I'm looking to get into wood carving. I'd like to make little animals (simple like ducks outlines dala horse), spoons, maybe in time some toys for relatives and just general house decorations/ ornaments.

I'm looking for a beginners set but I don't know where to begin. Amazon have a lot but they all look very similar and the reviews seem mixed. I'm looking for something that will allow me to get started and see if I like it without having to spend lots. Ideally gloves and some practice blocks would be good.

I'm looking to spend up to about £30 but I can be flexible to an extent.

Has anyone got any recommendations for either a pre built set or items I can get separately in the UK please?
