Wood carving Crazy!

• Crazy!
• Hey here is a sword I made it’s not much but hey! It’s a sword!
• A Tanuki (Japanese yokai) I just finished for a friend of mine (Lime wood, hand tools)
• A wolf skull in black walnut, finished with Danish oil. Hand-carved, and I left the tool marks, except for in the eye sockets.
• Carved tensegrity air plant pot from zebrawood
• My ancient restored Montblanc 22 and a new craving of Japanese cat. Yew - tuxus wood, no finish coating. Cutting cross-grain is a real challenge but the resulting stripes pay off :)
• Making an Amazing CS:GO Skeleton Knife
• To paint the lettering or not? The carved letters don't show up well in flat light.
• If you're a rookie like me, always remember to wear your cut gloves. Avoidable

• Little boot from alder wood with GEC pocket carver knife. Walnut upper stain mahogany stain on sole.
• First piece I actually finished with hand tools. Black symbols were carved first, then burned.
• WIP, first thing I’ve carved in a very long time. Making an Elkhound totem for my family!
